Yesterday we could not hold back our excitement as children and the community of Sizinda received a donation of Early Childhood Development Education (ECD) chairs, desks and indoor play equipment at our Sizinda Child Friendly Centre. The donation was made possible by Jenny H Roberts who worked with us over the past 3 weeks. This donation is key in improving the quality of ECD education in our local community. UNICA meets with UNCity team in Copenhagen – Denmark
Last Friday we took part in the UNCity staff bar in Copenhagen. It was enlightening to see and interact with over 200 people from different UN departments who came to support UNICA. Meanwhile, 6 youth leaders leave Denmark to implement what they gathered during their one month training in Denmark by DUF. Watch this space for more as we talk about our work in Zimbabwe with MS – Action Aid on the 21st March in Copenhagen.

2017 youth HIV/AIDS bootcamp take off in Victoria Falls

We had been busy selecting a team of our HIV/AIDS Youth Ambassadors who are destined for Denmark this February for a Youth Leader Project. On the other hand, we are preparing for an exciting moment for 30 Youth Ambassadors and close to 100 children who will join us at a BootCamp coming this February 2017.
